Abu Dhabi continued...

Established in 1979, the Abu Dhabi Chess and Culture Club was seen as a step towards promoting chess amongst the people. The club aims at getting the younger generation to endorse the game thereby increasing its popularity. The Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival is organised by the club annually.
